Here’s how you can help a child and family in need right now.
HumanKind’s Early Head Start program provides support for parents and free, full-time child care for infants and toddlers. With your help, all of our center locations can also provide the necessary supplies a child needs in child care — easing the burden on parents.
This additional support allows parents to be empowered to gain better employment, secure housing in safer neighborhoods, and build a strong foundation for life.
Your gift will directly benefit economically struggling families by providing them with an opportunity to meet their family’s basic needs without jeopardizing the household’s financial position. When basic needs are met – parents can focus on providing food and supplies at home, while their children can develop to reach their full potential and be ready for school.

Help fill a Diaper Bag Kit today!
Your gift of $32 will give a child everything they need while they play, learn, and grow. Make a difference for at least one child today. Your diaper bag kit will include immediately helpful items like diapers, formula, and wipes. It will also have hygiene supplies and even a book to send home inspiring an early love for reading.
Our most needed items right now:
- Diapers (size 3 – 6)
- Training pull-ups (size 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T)
- Wipes – must be hypoallergenic, sensitive
- Teething Toys
- Bottles and nipples (Tommee Tippee, Dr. Browns)
- Bibs
- Formula (Similac, Enfamil)
- Tissues
- Paper towels
- Cleaning supplies (bleach, cleaning wipes)
- Toilet paper
- Disposable gloves
- Masks
- Hand Sanitizer
- Bubbles
- Cardstock (white and colors)
- Gallon Ziploc Bags
- Sandwich Bags
- Favorite Children’s Board Books
All donations must be new.

Coordinate a Drive as a Group!
Gather your network to sponsor a child and their family at Early Head Start! Download our List of Most Needed Items and start collecting.
