If you ask Pamela McFadden how she feels about being a part of HumanKind’s Therapeutic Foster Care program (TFC), she’ll tell you she’s learned a lot and gained a family—but she hasn’t always felt that way.
Presbyterian Homes Campus & Midtown
HumanKind has two headquarters in Lynchburg, Virginia:
Presbyterian Homes Campus
At HumanKind, our history is an important part of our legacy, so we are preserving our main Lynchburg campus as Presbyterian Homes Campus. This campus offers multiple facilities to provide services for children, adults and families.
Lynchburg Group Home expanded in the fall of 2010, when it moved into what used to be the emergency shelter, Genesis House. Today, six adults with intellectual disabilities live in the group home. The first group home on campus was opened in 1996.
Webster Center was completed and dedicated in June 1999 thanks to the help of generous individuals, churches, organizations and businesses. The Center houses the Little Wings Preschool, chapel, gymnasium, kitchen and Wellness Center.
